This Farmhouse style ale was fermented with a fantastic strain of yeast that produces gorgeous esters. These fruit characteristics blend with the malt profile created by pilsner, wheat and munich malts. A light herbal and spicy hop character comes from European noble Saaz hops.

Tap at Deschutes Brewery & Public House, Portland - 07/11/12. Menu notes that this beer was brewed in the Portland brewing facility. Hazed light amber with a thin off white head that clears to the edges and forms a small pond. Nose comprises light sour tones, little hints of farmyard, herbs, dark fruits. Tastes of straw, light farmy tones, a little fruits, pale malts and a little Belgian yeast. Medium bodied, light carbonation leading to a slightly tarte finish. The flavours just aren’t coming out enought in this one. File under ’W’ for whelmed!

On tap at Bailey's Taproom, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of light toasted white bread and a bit of fruity esters. Flavour of light fruity esters, toasted bread and some Belgian yeast. Light-bodied and super-refreshing. Great stuff.
