On tap at Deep Cove, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is surprisingly strong, with toasted coconut, lots of roast and considerable hopping. Flavour isn't quite as robust, but brings out toasted coconut flakes, some roast and again a fairly strong hopping. Can't believe this is only 3.5%. Well-constructed and drinkable. Good one.

Draught at the brewery
Black color with small creamy beige head. The aroma is roasty in a very nice way, with hints of vanilla, smoke, whiskey, wood. The body is rather weak, the mouthfeel is soft (cask effect); not just roasted malt, but also, enough dark chocolate to be a real Porter. The bitterness tends to be on the low side; the final is too short and quite empty.
A bit light, but well constructed.
