Named after the distance in miles between the two collaborating breweries, this strong, full-bodied pale golden beer has been made with a combination of low colour Maris Otter pale ale malt and caramalt for residual sweetness and body. US Mosaic, Simcoe, Citra and Chinook hops have been added by the bucket load to the boil, the hop back and conditioning tanks to deliver a deadly dose of Founders' "complex, in-your-face" flavours. Balanced to perfection in true Abbeydale fashion allows flavours of citrus, tropical fruits, pine and grapefruit to fight for the attention of your tastebuds while the residual sweetness complements the bitter finish.

Tap at the Devonshire Cat, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Thin, sticky, white head. Thick, sweet, Fruit Salad sweets. Tinned strawberry. Very fruity. Hint of pine resin. Taste is more of the sweet stuff, balanced nicely by an oily, pine hop bitterness. Soft carbonation lends chew to the palate. Some boozy warmth. Fairly short lived, bitter finish. Very decent. Very tasty. But somehow I expected more...

On tap at The Wellington, pours a clear golden with a small beige head. Nose brings out piney hops and dry crackery malt. Flavour is very fruity and piney hoppy, with juicy berry fruits, piney hops and a dry crackery malt. Full-bodied for the style and packed with flavour. Excellent stuff.
