Med brown, aroma has a lot of toasty, chocolatey malts and grapefruity hops. Dry, hoppy, grapefruit juice and chocolate. Good balance, and complexity.

Black color with small creamy beige head. Very nice aroma of freshly brewed coffee pot, with evident citrusy hops. The mouthfeel is weak and very dry; flavor of burnt malts, a lot of ashes and a hint of coffee; strong resiny bitterness.
Monodimensional.

Black color with creamy head. Nice aroma, both the coffeish malts and the resiny hops are well present. The mouthfeel is expectedly light and dry, but also quite smooth; very strong roasted malt and burnt coffee flavor (this is beyond my liking), strong bitterness and hidden hop resins.
This usage of burnt malts may appeal to few, but creates a monodimensional beer.

Draught. Reddish brown with a thin head. Aroma is sweet fruity hop. Flavor is a nice easy fruit hop, tropical, a little dry. Easy drinking

473mL bottle, pours a near-black with a small beige head. Nose brings out burnt / roasted malt, some burnt espresso, and harsh piney hops. Flavour is much the same, though not as burnt as the nose suggests, and quite a strong flavour for a 4.2% beer! - bringing out notes of dry roasted malt, some burnt espresso and fairly potent hop profile. Great balance between the roasted malt and hop profile. Solid stuff.
