Cask at the brewery
Hazy dark amber color with sparse head. Mild aroma of English yeast, comforting. Good body strength, mix of malt and caramel flavor, and a good English yeast character, ending with correct bitterness; it had a vague fruity note; it’s also a bit sweeter than expected, which fits perfectly.
Very pleasant, balanced, and with points of interest.

On cask at Bomber, pours a cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Nose brings out English yeast, with moderate fruitiness from the currant. Flavour brings out more of the black currant upfront, on top of a very English malt backbone. Drinkable, but not overly interesting.
