During these cold autumn and winter months it’s nice to cozy up to a roaring fire. Now add in the rich, spicy notes of rye malt, bourbon soaked oak, and a hint of vanilla to take the chill out of even the coldest days. Made with a unique rooibos tea blend, this frost bitten vixen is a fantastic accompaniment to any of your indoor or outdoor winter adventures! Stay warm and enjoy!

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Dark amber color, hazy, with compact head.
It has some fruity aroma, like a red fruity tea, raisins. The mouthfeel is rather dry, overly carbonated; dry dark caramel flavor; chocolate shavings, some malt roastiness in the final, and light sourness.
The aroma is nice, the flavor somehow unpleasant, but not offensive.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a dark copper orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of bourbon, spicy rye, and earthy tea. Flavour brings out spicy earthy notes upfront, with some oak, bourbon and more earthiness to finish. Quite a well-rounded miscellaneous style beer, not striking me as a saison. Decent beer.
