On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out copious piney hops, some resin and light caramel malt. Flavour is malt-heavy despite the copious hops, with lots of resin and caramel malt. Very malty, finishing quite resinous. A touch off the mark, but still quite good.

On tap. Pours a hazy light brown with moderate foamy head. Aromas of fresh Euro and PNW hops (grass and fruit), orange/citrus and light toasted malts. Flavors are similar with emphasis on sweet malts over hops. Nice balance for a wet hopped beer. Smooth and easy to drink though somewhat heavy. Rating above for the standard keg, but also tried single cask dry hopped version with addition various hops. Several notches better on hops aroma and flavor, but still well balanced on the malt base. Excellent! 7/4/8/4/15

2014-10-08, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 10 oz, 7-5-7-4-14=37
Beautiful red-amber color with small head. A bit chewy and with less hop freshness than expected. Good beer in any case.

2014-10-02, draught at Big River, Richmond, 16 oz, 8-4-7-4-16=39
Cloudy dark amber color with medium sized frothy head. Interesting aroma, fruity and piney, pungent, a bit floral; good malt backbone (with crystal malt and some Maris otter), and strong bitterness; the hops are more resiny than fruity, a bit dirty and orangey.
A bit strange, different, rough, but very good.
