The final of our 2014 Ales for ALS beers, this is a double IPA brewed in collaboration with Saraveza, the legendary North Portland beer bar. this double IPA features Equinox, Amarillo and Columbus and shows beautiful notes of tangerine, grapefruit peel, and ganja. $1 of every pint sold goes directly to the ALS Therapy Development Institute.

On tap at Saraveza for the 5th IIPA fest, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of resinous hops, some dank herbal notes, and a little wood. Flavour is rich and aggressive, with loads of resinous hops balanced by a load of caramel malt. On the maltier side without being too malty or sweet. Very well-balanced, finishing lightly bitter and a tad boozy. Excellent stuff.
