Cask at the brewery
Cloudy amber color, dull, with barely any head. Unexpectedly it has some aroma of overripe banana. Lean but with some residual sweetness, caramel flavor with a lot of banana; ordinary bitterness, fruity, some apple, a bit dusty in the end, light yeast astringency.
No Belgian character, no IPA, and some flaw; this goes nowhere.

On cask at Main Street, pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Nose brings out dry piney hops, followed by a biscuity malt backing. Flavour is hoppier than the Belgian Bonsai, with more dryness and less Belgian characteristic. Smooth mouthfeel that is well-balanced. Good beer.

Hazy amber, lot of bubblegum on the nose, sweet, not much hop and when it comes in it is incongruous. Butter too, ok first day open it’s a miss but you can’t win ’em all.
