Black, small tan head.Pleasant roast nose. Dry roast palate vague sweet mid. Not much here

dark brown color, almost black. Aroma of bread and coffee. Also the flavor has some German rye bread, light coffee, dark caramel, and some residual sweetness; the bitterness is quite low. Creamy, milky; lactose?
Rather boring.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry cocoa and light toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, dominated by the cocoa, with a dry toasty palate. Very smooth and well-balanced, highly drinkable porter. Very good.
