A one off brew that is brewed with one hop strain, the CTZ hop. CTZ is a hybrid combo hop of Columbus/Tomahawk/Zeus. Big and dank in the nose, with great piney/citrusy hop flavors up front but balanced beautifully by sweet toasty, bready malt. Finished hoppy, but with a clean sweet maltiness that makes you come back for more.

On tap at Fat Head's Portland, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of dry hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is more like an IPA, with lots of dry piney hops. Dry and well-balanced, and very drinkable. Good stuff.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear pale orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Piney hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, pine and malt. The finish is hoppy with a moderately bitter aftertaste that lingers. Decent overall.

draft - Pours hazy yellow with a lasting white head. The aroma is mainly citrus hops. It tastes quite bitter with plenty of citrus. The body is medium and overall itβs a good though not great quaff.

Growler fill after sample at Fat Heads in OH. Pours an orangish gold with a little bit of a head (although the sample at Fat Heads had a decent head.) Aromas are full of floral and lemony hops with a little bit of a passion fruit side to them. Flavor is grassy, with lots of citrus and tropical fruit. The malty presence is honey and dough, finish is sharp hops bitterness. Very good and there is a definite connection with the Head Hunter here.
