Draft at Portside. Honestly, I couldn’t get past the diacetyl. Was there something else in this beer?

On tap at Bitter Tasting Room, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out big time floral hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with floral hops / flowers and a sufficient biscuity malt backing. Very floral. Not overly digging the hop character here. Okay.

Draught at Bitter Tasting Room, Vancouver
Cloudy deep blond color with generous creamy head. Mild aroma: malt, hops, butter (very light). Lean pale malt base, dry, a bit creamy, with substantial bitterness, moderate hop qualities (more hard resins, very light fruitiness), with a light piquant touch, spicy, but also a light trace of butter.
Light diacetyl aside, it’s a quite good, although rustic, beer.
