Draught @ PiwPaw - Beer Heaven, Foksal 16, Warszawa, Poland 00-372. [ As Kopyra & Widawa Renifer ].Clear medium to dark red orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, spicy, moderate yeasty, belgium yeast, spices - cardamom - cinnamon. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, dark malt, wood - juniper, spicy - cardamom - cinnamon. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160204]

330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with small to average, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Spicy pumpkin aroma with a cola touch, notes of ginger and cinnamon, a touch of nutmeg. Taste is slightly sweet, notes of cola and pumpkin, a touch of chocolate, mild spiciness with hints of ginger, cinnamon, a touch of nutmeg, minimally dry hints of juniper as counterbalance; super soft, minimally sticky palate. Very well balanced, harmonious, in no way overspiced. Very good.

33cl bottle. Pours very dark brown colour with a small tan head. Aroma of spices, cinnamon, pumpkin and red malt. Taste of red malt, red riped fruits, cinnamon, pumpkin, interesting stuff!

Keg at PiwPaw, Warsaw. Cloudy dark mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of nutmeg with a twist of lemon. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel, some lemony tartness. Nutmeg, lemon and caramel dominates. Fairly low bitterness.

Butelka 330ml (24.01.2016). Piwo niemal czarne z delikatnymi rubinowymi refleksami pod światło, jasno beżowej pianie, niezbyt obfitej i szybko redukującej się do cieniutkiego kożuszka na powierzchni piwa, który tylko nieznacznie zdobi szkło. Aromat delikatny ale z wyraźnymi, świątecznymi nutami przyprawowymi z przewodnią nutą kardamonu. Podobnie jest w smaku z lekko winnym, kwaskowym akcentem w kontrze do przypraw, wyraźną, lekko drewnianą, taninową goryczką, długą i ściągającą oraz słodkawym, waniliowym posmakiem. Lekkie, pijalne, raczej wytrawne niż słodkie nie przesadzone z przyprawami, słodkawe na finiszu, bardzo przyjemne w odbiorze.

(Keg at Gastropub Nordic, 20140308) The beer poured dark brown and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had clove, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were clove, malts, molasses, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had clove, malts and bitterness. The clove came through heavily but despite that the beer was still quite drinkable and tasty.

Bottle, 6.2%. Spicy and farty aroma. Dark brown colour, seems clear. Big stable tight light brown head. The flavour is spicy and roasted. The spices are a bit of a mess, but they are not too overpowering. Yeasty finish, citric enough to balance off the spices.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark brown with small light tan head. Sour aroma with coffee-like notes. Bitter, roasty aroma, with sourish notes (off?) and traces of nuts and spices. Bitter and sour finish. Off (3 weeks past BBD) ? Needs-re-rating.
