Meet Cannonball’s big brother; we used more malt, more hops and more magical conjuring to crank up the flavour of our explosive IPA ‘Cannonball’. Get your taste buds ready for massive pine and candied orange aromas combined with bitter/sweet grapefruit and mango flavours all complemented by a deeply composed, satisfyingly malty base. Ever wondered what it feels like to be shot out of a cannon? Here’s what it tastes like.

Hazy golden color. Frothy white head. Light tropical fruit nose. Super rounded well balanced. Pine, wood, slightly heady with tangerines in the mouth. I am guessing EKG is in there. Really nice mouth feel, but finish is a bit abrupt with modest bitterness.

[4/29/15] Draught at Mikkeller & Friends in Copenhagen. Murky yellow. Pleasant hoppy overripe fruits aroma, slightly “green”. Flavor is quite dry with fruity hops and “green” bitterness. Medium-bodied. Slightly heavy, but decent.

On tap at What’s Brewing. A finger-thick off-white head sits on top of an almost clear, golden-orange body. Pine cones, citrus peel and orange in the aroma. Some pale malts in the back. It’s full-bodied and nicely carbonated, dry and quite bitter. There’s some malty sweetness going on, but the hops have the leading role, giving both fruity and piney flavors and a fine bitterness. Lasting finish with fruityness and bitterness. A refreshing one, at least considering the ABV, tasteful too. 141031

Great balance on this beer. Golden pour with good head and lacing. Not too sweet or boozy tasting. Medium bitter finish. Average carbonation. Well-balanced and super well done. A great example of a beer that’s perfected balance over anything else. Great taste. Tap at Churchkey.
