Cask at the brewery
Dark brown color, small head. Mild coffee aroma, not the best, but also not the worst, not burnt. Smooth, undercarbonated, warm; some chocolate flavor, some cheap chocolate, light coffee, light bitterness. Quite useless, unless you need an alcoholic reason to drink coffee.
Boring.

On cask at Parallel 49, pounds a deep dark amber brown with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out oats, coffee and toasted malt. Flavour is very smooth and roasty, with coffee, roasted malt, oats and cocoa. Full-bodied, robust and highly drinkable. Great stuff.
