Cask at Craft Beer Market, Vancouver, 10oz
Cloudy orange-blond (less muddy than most Dead Frog casks), frothy head, with nice lace. The Jalapeño aroma is mild but evident; the chili blends well with the flavor, thanks to the residual sweetness; it’s a bit more citrusy than the regular version, but the three adjuncts create a pithy bitterness in the final.
Pleasant, but unrefined.

On cask at Craft Beer Market, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out the jalapeos upfront, followed by orange peel and tropical fruitiness. Flavour is similar, with jalapeo upfront, followed by citrus hops. The peppers steal the show, but don't dominate too much. Nice little cask one-off.
