Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Hazy dark blond color with small frothy head, quickly dissipating. The aroma is mild, a bit fruity, a bit of manure. The mouthfeel is lean, lightly sweet; the malt background is simple but not bad; the hops are mellow and fruity, not prominent, so they don’t hide the light spicy touch.
Unfortunately for this beer I just had the Persephone Gibsons B Pilsner, and the hops if the Barnstormer are not as much impressive; mellow Belgian Saison, not bad but timid.

650mL bottle, pours an opaque cloudy orangey yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very floral and yeasty, with flowery hops, saison yeast and some doughy notes. Flavour matches pretty much identically, with loads of soft floral hops, Belgian yeast and light pine. Really nice hybrid, with lots of floral hops and yeasty notes in harmony. Very good.
