Draft 10 oz pour at Beer Junction. Happy anniversary to you guys! A few days ago I celebrated my anniversary, but didn’t exactly bust out a ton of awesome beers in the process. I’ll learn. Dark brown pour with almost no head. Chocolate, coconut, and maple syrup jump out aroma. Flavor is a whole lot of the same, with good roasted character, and a potent whiskey finish. Tasty stuff. Memorable beer for sure.

Draught at The Beer Junction, Seattle
Dark brown color, near black, with compact beige head. Moderately sweet, with nice dark malts and some caramel, some chocolate, but not really roasty, and the whiskey is just a perfect complement; also the alcohol provides just a gentle warmth.
Excellent.

On tap at The Beer Junction, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is huge on the whiskey barrels upfront - seems like the barrel has overtaken this completely on the nose at least. Flavour is similar, bringing out intense whiskey barrel notes, followed by some cocoa and roast. Cohesive and wonderfully crafted. Excellent stuff.
