Pint on tap at brewery. Totally black beer with a thin film of suds on top. Nose is mostly cocoa, hints of coffee and chocolate. Lots of flavour, zingy mouthfeel. Light body, light fruitiness. Finish is bitter with hints of liquorice. Looks rubbish in the glass. A nice drinking Stout though.

On cask at Foghorn Brewhouse, pours black with a reddish tinge and a medium tan head. Aroma brings out English malt and a little cocoa. Flavour is soft with English malt and dry cocoa. Flat mouthfeel with not much dynamics. Meh.
