PINTA Jak w dym 16,5° - dark, thick and intensively smoked Rauchbock in Bamberg style. Rauchbock is a good choice for smoke-lovers who rest in home whilst long evenings of autumn and winter. More than 80% of malts have been smoked with beechwood smoke. They are brewing Rauchbock in Bamberg since hundreds of years. PINTA brewed it for the first time ever in 2011. Taste of this beer is very unique that's why we have to say - Rauchbock - love it or leave it!

Barwa ciemnoburgundowa, piana wysoka jednak szybko opada. W aromacie wyraźne nuty wędzone, bardziej wędzony ser niż szynka. W smaku również króluje wędzonka oraz lekka chlebowość. Goryczka na niskim poziomie. Poprawne, bez szału.

50cl bottle. Pours clear reddish brown colour with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of intense smoked malt, bacon, red fruits. Taste of sweet red malt, bacon, caramel, some chocolate, spices, good!

Bottled 500ml. -Dark amber/brown coloured, minimal off-white head, light bacon in the nose. Sweet malty, light caramel, notes of roasted chestnut and light smoke with unfortunately quite short dryish finish. Smells very smoky but the taste is (a bit) letdown.

Thanks Vran! Chestnut brown body, off white head. Salty bacon and sweetish chestnut aroma. Light taste, salty bacon flavored chips, sweet stale maltiness, atypical and light. Don?t like the maltiness here... Almost a win. Almost.

Barwa brunatna, brązowa. Piana gęsta lecz błyskawicznie opada. W aromacie wyraźna wędzonka oraz dym z ogniska. W smaku również dominuje wędzonka, zaraz za nią karmel i daleko w tle minimalnie majaczy czekolada deserowa. Bardzo przyjemne i udane piwo.

Draught @ Piw Paw, Zurawia 32, Warszawa, Poland 00-515. [ As Pinta Jak w Dym ].Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, roasted, dark malt, meat, smoke. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, smoke, dark malt, sweet meat. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160206]

500ml bottle. Clear chestnut colour with copper-ish glimmer and small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, smoky, caramel malty aroma, hints of beech, associations of smoked eel, spicy barbecue sauce containing tomato and treacle. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, mildly smoky, notes of beech, treacle, a touch of honey; rather light (especially considering 6.9% abv) and minimally watery. Slightly too sweet, otherwise concerning balance and mixture of flavours on a line with the typical Schlenkerla taste, but lacking intensity, depth and power to reach that level of perfection. Quite good nevertheless.

Keg at PiwPaw, Warsaw. Almost clear mahogany colour, mid sized head. Smoky nose with charcuteries rolled in sugar. Sweet with medium-full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Mildly smoky sausages, sugar, bread. Low bitterness. Nice, even at this level of sweetness.
