PINTA Jak w dym 16,5° - dark, thick and intensively smoked Rauchbock in Bamberg style. Rauchbock is a good choice for smoke-lovers who rest in home whilst long evenings of autumn and winter. More than 80% of malts have been smoked with beechwood smoke. They are brewing Rauchbock in Bamberg since hundreds of years. PINTA brewed it for the first time ever in 2011. Taste of this beer is very unique that's why we have to say - Rauchbock - love it or leave it!

Bottle, 6.9%. Roasted syrupy aroma. Dark brown colour, seems cloudy. Roasted aroma, some liquorice, caramelly and sweetish. Creamy note hidden by a mild smokiness.

0.5l bottle kindly traded with ElDesmadre. It pours a really really deep brown - almost black body with a small brown light bubbly head that's quickly fading to a sidesticking little thing. On the aroma this one is quite smoky and sausage-ish. Not to overwhelming the smokiness, but it's totally dominant. Some ashy rocks next to a camp fire is what this is smelling like. I quite like it! When tasting it it's actually a bit sweet. Also, of course, lots of nice beefy, dried meaty smokiness. I honestly don't get any other flavors in this one, and I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. One dimensional perhaps, but I really liked this one! Perhaps so much that I can say that this is one of the best Polish I've had! 07.04.2012

bottle from Kuba - many thanks! Deep nut-brown colour, small beige head. Lovely smoky aroma. Full-bodied, intensive sweet malt flavours dominate together with the rather intensive, but pleasant and well balanced smokiness. Smooth palate, very well balanced. Another beer from a reliable brewer (Pinta) from a very reliable brewery (Zawiercie). Bardzo dobre piwo!
