Draught at Odd Society; 14oz
Hazy golden color with generous head. The Pale Ale is smooth, moderately sweet, well hopped, but the Citra character is not evident; on top of it sits a fairly strong but well integrated juniper note, herbal, even with a hint of rosemary. Balanced.
Good beer, but not better than the regular one, I don’t get the hype.

On tap at Odd Society. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is piney, gin barrel notes, flowery. Similar character taste and aftertaste. Very interesting stuff.

On tap at Odd Society, pours a cloudy bronze with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings a nice combination of floral dry hopping and juniper from the gin barrel aging. Flavour is along the same lines, with a heavily pronounced gin barrel quality to this - featuring juniper notes all round with moderate sweetness. Floral dry hopping is rather subdued but it's there. For such a short time in barrels, the gin quality is surprisingly pronounced. Excellent experiment.
