Very astringent, lacking body and balance for the alcohol. I'm quite surprised with Rogue putting this out. It's not terrible, but I expect better from these guys. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Rogue in Portland, pours a murky dark orangey amber with a small white head. Aroma is quite dirty, with filthy yeasty notes and fusel alcohol notes. Flavour is extremely alcoholic and harsh, with fusel alcohol, Belgian yeast and murky earthy notes. Not a beer of harmony or balance at all. Difficult to drink.
