Golden- amber and not much head. Vaguely malty nose with a light estery character. Mellow biscuity, caramel malts. Not bad malt development actually. Just enough hop dryness. Pretty drinkable, authentic take on the industrial Scottish bitter.

Draught at the brewery
Dark amber color, clean. Dry mouthfeel, very bready, with some dark caramel too, mix cereals, and quite low bitterness.
Clean Amber Ale, not too exciting though.

On tap at Deep Cove, pours a fairly clear dark copper with a small white head. Aroma is very restrained, with faint bready malt showcasing the nose. Flavour is similar, with bready malt and lightly toasted caramel. Very dry palate, with a good balance. Uneventful but well-made. Solid.
