Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with minimal almost white head. Only a vague arma of malts and fruits. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with summer fruits to the fore plus malts and hints of peaches. Later on there are traces of floral hops too, leadng to a slightly fruity finish. It’s reasonable, if somewhat bland.

Cask @ Horse & Jockey, Grindley Brook. Pours gold, small white topping. Aroma of pale malt, distant fruit. Taste suggests its perhaps a few days past its best, or had laid in the line a while, gentle bitterness, some stale malt, light fruits.. not great.
