Golden dull. Tart, tree fruit, bright hops, vinous barrel. Balanced alcohol in the finish.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Yellow color. The aroma is vinous, common white wine. The flavor is vinous too, what would be an average white wine in France or Italy, a Sauvignon, but not particularly brilliant; more sour than a wine though.
So if the plan was to imitate wine with apples, it worked.

On tap at St. Augustine’s during 1st 45 taps annual event with Alex and Josh. Pours a clear pale golden with no head. Aroma is sour apples. Taste is slightly sour and dry, yeasty, some fermented apples notes. Not bad.

On tap at the PIB. Pours a hazy pinkish yellow color with a small bubble of head. A sharp funky fruity nose. White wine, vinous, dry pulp apple flavors. Very good.

On tap at PIB 2016, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dark dried fruits, light funk and crisp green apples. Flavour is bone dry, with lots of oak, crisp green apple, and bone dry funkiness. Complex, dry and oaky. Excellent.
