This refreshing kolsch has a delicate fruit and sweet aroma that comes from the lagering stage of the german ale yeast.

Pale blond color, hazy. It has a grassy, earthy aroma, the flavor seems too sweet, but with crispy malt, and a grassy hint; the bitterness can’t possibly be the claimed 42 IBU.
Pleasant Helles, I’m not sure this could be a Kölsch, maybe for the best.

Hazy, blonde. Thin head. Has quite a bit of hop on the nose. Moderate bitterness, continental hop. Rather heavy sulphur/vegetal, a touch of acidity, sweet creamy malts. Some good some bad with this one but the recipe on paper is about right (enough hop to actually be a kolsch is a good start), only execution falters.

On tap at Faculty, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh cereal malts and crisp crackery notes. Flavour is clean and crisp, with cereal malts, crisp crackery malt and some yeasty notes. Decent amount of hops to it as well, which places it slightly above par for local kolschs, which isn't saying much.
