16 ounce can. Pours a orange hue, reddish, with a small white head. A big citrus nose. Smooth oranges, sweet, toffee, mild bitterness, resin. Very smooth. 9%! Wow. I thought closer to 4%. Good.

Amber, bright. Grapefruit rind and stale pine hops on the nose. Alcohol, stale c hops. Malts are mostly pale, but fairly assertive and maybe there’s a touch of chewiness in there.

On tap at Saraveza for the 7th IIPA Fest, pours an opaque dark orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of resinous hops, caramely bready malt, and sticky sweetness. Flavour is sticky, with resinous hops and caramel malts in good balance. Light sweetness, with not a whole lot of depth. Pretty good.

Sample at the tap room. Slightly hazy dark orange color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of pithy citrus, hops and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a grapefruit and hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
