On tap at Beardslee, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light roasted malt and light cocoa. Flavour brings out robust roasted malt, followed by some cocoa and light sweetness. Robust palate, with a nice balance. Very good.

Rating #1930. 1930 was the year Twinkies were invented. Barely relevant, but interesting for sure. Pours black with a thick cream foam head. Big roasted aroma. Quite a robust stout for sure. Big roasted flavor with an almost smokey finish. A little light on smoothness, but the roasted malt is nice. Pretty good stout
