Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Opaque dark brown color with small beige head. Caramel, lean, moderately sweet. The alcohol is noticeable. Some malt depth, but this is rather a strong Amber Ale than anything else.
Not bad, but boring.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of caramel, light dark fruitiness and toffee. Flavour is quite robust, with caramel, bready malt and a touch of dark fruits. Not overly sweet, which is definitely a plus for the style. Nicely constructed and well-rounded. Very good.

Draft @ Alibi. Dark brown, thin head, bit hazy. Bubblegum? Wtf? Ok that’s not working. This has sweet, some bubblegum, bit toffeeish. On the palate it’s not bad scotch ale but that nose ... well it blows off eventually, which is a relief.
