On cask at Mikkeller San Diego, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry cocoa nibs, light roast and subdued coffee. Flavour is fairly dry, with cocoa nibs, light toasted malt and some espresso. Nowhere near as good as the base beer, but it's solid.
