Dark brown with a thin head. Chocolate nose, and chocolate taste, soft body, moderate bitterness. Very nice.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of hearty oatmeal upfront, with roasted barley and dry cocoa. Flavour is dry and hearty, with lots of oatmeal, a touch of dry cocoa powder, and dry barley. Hearty and well-structured. Excellent.

Draft pour pint at Cloudburst. Listed at 5.6%, 30 ibu. Pours a near black with a fading tan head. Chocolate heavy aroma. Flavor is a nice roasted malt, with sweet vanilla notes. Cool malty finish. It’s nice to see a stout from these guys. A dark beer for some of us that want to enjoy more than one. Easy drinking sweet stout here. Solid.
