Draft pour at Stoup, Seattle. A hazy golden pour with a thin, oily head. An interesting take on the style here. Pilsner grain heavy aroma. Unique. Flavor is thick, and creamy, with a banana and herb constant. Sweet. Cool, minty toothpaste. Strange. A sipper for me.

Bit hazy, thin head, hasn’t really got much aroma. Sweet, has a touch of sticky malt...doesn’t really have the hops I’m looking for in this style.

On tap at Stoup, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, followed by light candied sugar. Flavour is surprisingly authentic for a North American tripel, with light candied sugar, Belgian yeast and dry crackery notes. Much more authentic than average. Nice stuff.
