The dank foundation of this IPA starts with Columbus for bittering and Simcoe, Columbus and Mosaic in the whirlpool. Dry hopping with Amarillo, Mosaic and Zeus results in a resinous, piney funk - a good, hoppy kind of funk. A bit of citrus rounds out this beer, making it the perfect companion for a wet, cold, Northwest day.

Slight haze, bubbly head, has a nice grapefruit hop, bitter, sticky malts with a fair bit of crystal. Balanced, clean, well made mid-2000s IPA.

On tap at Stoup, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops upfront, with some dank, pot-like hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is robust, with piney hops, darkness and dry biscuity malt. Balanced well, with a piney, dank finish. Excellent.
