Black color., small head. The aroma of roasted malt has some sour note, and cardboard, no oak though. The mouthfeel is smooth, lean, weaker than expected; there is some liquorice, some malt acidity, and light earthy character; again, no oak.
Good beer, a simple Imperial Stout, below expectations.

Pour from the 650ml bottle at High Point. Leftovers. Pours an almost black with a dark brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt and seeds. Taste is the same, very roasty. Low sweetness. Quite dry aftertaste. Good stuff.

Dark brown. Bubbly, medium head. There is a lot of toastiness on the nose, but with a medium chocolatey maltiness. Generally sweet, chocolatey, and this generally balanced character. Solid imperial stout.

650L bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted oak, toasted malt and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of oak dominating. Dry, toasted malt and oak on the finish. Solid stuff, but not as good the bourbon BA version they used to brew.
