Assertive ginger and lime off the nose. Subtle molasses and a gentle warming from the rum. Great beer for the dark and stormy winter ahead!

On tap at Red Truck, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out agesssive ginger that drowns everything else out. Flavour similarly brings out the assertive ginger, but accompanied with it is a stale grassy, herbal quality that is rather tart. Nasty stuff.

Dull copper-brown. Thin head. Lots of ginger on the nose...same on the palate. Underhopped ....I swear you get a dark & stormy at the Reef it has more bitterness than this. Not pulling much rum at all. So. Thin, light amber with a whack of ginger.

Draught at the brewery
Dark amber color, clean, medium sized compact head. Thereβs no beer here; quite strong ginger and lime aroma and flavor, reminds me of lemon scented cleaning products; mild acidity; no rum i can think of, just gentle caramel in the final.
What a useless product.
