A refreshing grisette inspired by our visits to some of Belgium’s most revered breweries and hot summer nights on the farm. Its generously bitter profile and orange hue pays homage to the classic Belgian pale ale, Orval, and its name means farming or agriculture in Dutch. Unfiltered, keg-conditioned, and unapologetically aggressive.

Draft .5 liter pour at Masonry, Fremont. A fun beer here to start a night of celebration. A mostly clean golden pour. Cool to find these guys on draft finally. And in a less than expected location. A soft orange spice to this unique style. Some cook citrus to pair. Low bitter, light feel overall, but quite flavorful. Really nice brew overall.

Draught at the brewery. Nice grisette, has a light peppery, good pale malt. Quaffable. Dry finish.

On tap at Wolves & People, pours a cloudy dull orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out spicy farmhouse yeast, with earthy notes and pepper. Flavour is quite spicy, with black pepper, farmhouse yeast, some earth and toasted nuts. Spicy and peppery - nicely balanced. Very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange color, really pale and close to yellow, a small white head. A soft peach and citrus nose. The flavor is smooth citrus and peach, grainy earthy malt. Quite clean. Lovely brew.
