Piney and resinous, this Pacific Northwest amber ale’s flavour is as deep as a forest of Sitka spruces.

Draught at Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar (W. Broadway), Vancouver
Brown color, clean, with small compact head. Not much to say about the aroma, maybe a hint of puke acidity. The mouthfeel is dry, it combines some caramel, soap, spruce, lime. Toasted final.
Terrible concoction, un-beery.

On tap at Darby's, pours a clear dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, bready malt and a touch of toasted caramel. Flavour follows accordingly, with west coast piney hops and toasted bready caramel malt to back. Definitely on the hoppier side with that pine. Surprisingly nice.
