16 oz can. Thank to tfontana on this share! Aroma has earthy wood, burnt sugar, cane sugar. Flavor follows the aroma. We guess this is the 10% ABV batch. Not marked on the can.
Can’t say I’ve had many examples of this particular wood for beer aging. Certainly does taste good.

Can from Steve. Opaque dark brown, light viscosity, thin head fading to a ring, trace lacing. Aroma is lightly roasted malt, a vaguely fruity/earthy/woody quality. Taste is lightly roasted malt, earthy/woody (wood quality persists). Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Not the most complex offering but the wood is super unique and intriguing.

On tap at Crooked Tooth, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out lots of roasted malt, a touch of smoke, and an even smaller hint of cocoa. Flavour is robust, with lots of roasted malt, dry cocoa and light smoke from the palo santo. Just a hint of sweetness that balances well with the roasted malt. Bold and well-balanced. Very good.
