(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 12 Feb 2016) Cloudy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, black-currant, dried fruit and hints of burnt rubber. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, resin, rubber, caramel and a generous resiny bitterness in the finish. Full body, fairly sweet. Quite powerful and slightly vinous, with a generous hop character. Nice one.

murky medium amber color. White head that quickly disappears. Big nose of citrus, cotton candy, piney, moderately sweet malty backbone. The mouth is not nearly as sweet as I expected with excellent pine character with notes of citrus. moderately strong malt backbone, but everything is well integrated and executed well. Slight warming at the end which I didn’t mind. Half way between a barley wine and a IPA. Very enjoyable brew.
