Flaska från SB, 2016. Murken rostbrun vätska med låg smutsbeige krona som hänger kvar något. Torkad frukt, plommon, brittisk fruktkaka, torkad aprikos, något kryddiga inslag, kanderade apelsinskal och zest. Lätt värme från alkoholen samt lätt oxidation. Fortfarande bra beska. Spridningen i humlesorter känns av, inte minst den nya zeeländska. Stor och fyllig kropp och samtidigt åtstramad, säkerligen delvis av lagringen. Både i smak och kropp känns den nästan fatlagrad. Old school amerikansk i tappning. Mognat fint av lagring. Gott.

Bottled (from Systembolaget Umeå). Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some slight raisins, alcohol, mild toffee and some hops as well. Flavour is fruity, alcoholic, wooden and rather strong floral hoppiness as well as some gluelike sweetness. Wellbalanced and rather big kicking hops to it.

Hazy, murky brown color, firm brownish head. Sweet, malty, very hoppy, hop oily aroma. Full-bodied. Malty sticky, toffeish, woody, very hoppy, hop oily. Certainly crossover of UK and US. Interesting.

On tap at Akkurat, Stockholm, Friday 18th November 2016 Amber n colour with a small off-white head. Fruity but also caramel and with an oily thickness in the mouth. Warming from the alcohol, though drinks quite well for the abv, it’s got a good hoppy kick and bitter edge to stamp down that sweetness. Good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle 330ml. [ As Beer Studio One ].Unclear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, marmelade, sweet fruit - hops, riped fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, marmelade, caramel, fruity hops, dried fruit - riped fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160109]
