Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy golden color. Smell of puke, some spicy yeast. Dry mouthfeel, astringent, petroleum, fuel, phenol, and other chemicals, with a bready malt note.
Very bad.

Hazy, light tan. This has a heavy yeasty note, both on the nose and on the palate. Not much in the way of hop. Just a lot of yeastiness, and there’s not a whole lot of malt character either, maybe some light breadiness.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with almost no head. Nose is somewhat sweet, with cereal malt sweetness and light straw. Flavour is along the same lines, with cereal malt, a little straw, and some biscuity notes. A little cardboardy, with a rather lifeless body. Lame stuff.

Bottle, IP trade with Tomer, at JF’s Calcutta Cup mini tasting - 02/02/13. Hazed yellow blonde with a decent frothy off white head that retains well. Nose carries pale malt, lemon, spice, corriander, light tropical fruit notes. Taste follows - pale malt, some hop presence, grassy, spice, herbal qualities. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and some light bitterness in the finish. Fairly basic but drinkable stuff.

Bottle, hazy light orange colour, stable creany head, kight malty aroma with some citrus and herbal notes, flavour of is a melange of citrus, white and tropical fruits with a strong herbal bitterness as a backbone, long bitter aftertaste. This would make an excellent summer beer.
