Part of Brews Brothers 2017 collaboration pack.
Done in collaboration with Scuttlebutt Brewing’s Matt Stromberg. This is a traditional style hefeweizen brewed with a modern breed of hops hailing from Germany. This hoppy hefe offers flavours of banana and subtle clove, with aromas of cantaloupe and honey dew from the newly released Bavarian hops used to brew this beer.

Hazy and light, dull amber. Fruity, though overstewed hops, the malts are a bit oddball, too, with toast but a lot more overripe fruit.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy golden color, small head. The aroma is mildly spicy. The mouthfeel is soft, not too dry; the flavor has sour malt, dishwasher water, light banana bubblegum, esters; maybe hoppier than American Hefes, but this is not new in Germany.
Not too bad, but it’s a sad copycat; stick to American styles.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out clove, banana and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is very sweet, with lots of banana esters, other fruitiness, and light clove. Very fruity and banana-y especially. Not authentic but it's okay.
