Golden, bright, thin head. Nice lacing, too. Aroma shows a light pale malt note. Sadly the palate shows butter up front, along with an earthy hop bitterness. You could make a case that this is aiming for Czech pilsner, actually. Those less sensitive to diacetyl will find a good beer here. But for me, my beer glass is one place I don’t like the taste of brown butter.

On tap at Faculty, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out cereal malts, corn and barely a trace of hops. Flavour is very restrained, with cereal malt sweetness, straw and pretty much no happiness. Dull, lifeless and underhopped. Another pointless beer from Faculty.
