Clean, light bodied IPA. Chinook, Simcoe and Idaho 7 hops give it a strong pine flavour with some citrus compliments. Reminiscent of a long hike through the forest, and fittingly named after one of Fernie’s favourite trails.

Bottle, Legacy. Hazy amber. Bubbly head. Earthy nose with crystal malt. There's light hops but they're pretty woody and vague. Earthy on the palate, too, little bit citrusy, and again with a touch of crystal malt. The pine isn't prominent to me, which is too bad because I like pine in a beer sometimes.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear golden with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out plenty of piney hops, with a dry biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is similar, bringing out a nice piney hop character, with a touch of citrus and dry biscuity malt base. Very piney palate, with a bit of an alcoholic abrasiveness on the finish. Solid stuff.
