On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy dark reddish amber brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out the jalapeno pepper character upfront, with very subdued hops and a touch of caramely bready malt. Flavour is malty and spicy in a very jagged and jumbled way, with plenty of jalapeno character upfront, transitioning to sweet bready caramel malt and a touch of resinous hops. Sticky, spicy and sweet. Messy and lame. Not good.
