Cask at the Hillsborough Hotel. Dark brown pour with a nice thin white frothy head. Malty aroma with a big malty flavour with a smooth bitter taste. Not much on the palate but a very satisfying session ale.

Cask at the Live and Let Live, Cambridge. Copper with a thin cream head; restrained aroma of lightly roasted malts; soft, milky mouthfeel with a light grainy body; and a clean biscuity finish. Unusual.
