On tap at Great Divide, pours an opaque murky dirt dark reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of bourbon barrels, lots of wood, robust caramel malt and a touch of blackberry pith. Flavour is intense, with heaps of caramel malt, bourbon barrels, wood and a touch of fruit. Very heavy, bordering on harsh, but not too much. Not quite at the level of Great Divide's other barrel aged beers, but it's sure good.
