On tap at Cloudburst, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dark cocoa, roasted malt, and a hint of coffee. Flavour is really well-balanced, with medium roasted malt, oats, and a hint of dark cocoa. Dry, hearty and roasty on the finish. Excellent stout.

On tap at cloudburst brewing. Pours out black topped with a cream tan head. Nose is light ash dark bitter chocolate. Taste is more of the nice light roast malts some ash and a bitter dark chocolate.

Draft pour pint at Cloudburst, followed by another. Just a solid stout here that needs to help from extra additives. Solid, thick black pour with a ton of tan foam head and lacing. Malt centered aroma, roasted. Flavor is a bold roasted malt, with a coffee like bitterness without any coffee flavor really being a factor for me. Lingering toasty constant. Has a decent hop impression for the style, but this isn’t something I would expect from these guys. Something different. I like it! Solid stout here.
