Sons of Anarchy Amber Ale is a collaboration between C20th Fox, Sudwerk Brewery, and Rewine. It is brewed in the village of Davis on the California coast, the backdrop for many TV series, and films. In the glass Sons of Anarchy pours amber with a light white head. The nose is moderately malty, with caramel and hops flavours. The palate is full of soft, grassy, fruity flavours, as well as malt, hops, chocolate, orange, and caramel, set off by a medium body, a satin texture and light carbonation that lead to a malty finish.

Flaske 355ml fra Systembolaget Kiruna. Drukket i Skibotn 20 Aug 15. Mørk amber. Lavt skum som raskt blir film. Søt plommearoma. Smaken litt karamell. Litt syrlighet etter hvert.

Bottled@omhper. Reddish amber colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, some sour wood, dirty toilets and herbs. Flavour is sour wood, sour toffee and some herbal notes.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy brownish amber, small head. Lemony caramel. Sweet and sour with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Mostly lemon and caramel. Anarchy in the microbiotic department?

Flaska från SB. Vattnig toffe och lätt blommig beska. Mer åt brittisk bitter/ESB. Saknar den fruktiga, smakrika maltsötman man är så van från den amerikanska varianten av en amber. Hade ju inte skadat om bryggaren använt lite caramalt. Då hade åtminstone färgen varit tilltalande. Tycker mest synd om fansen till TV-serien.

355ml bottle bought from djoeye. Clear golden-brown body. Stable beige head. Dotted spots on the glass. Prominent taste of oak and spiced brown malts. Spiced brown malty taste added by some kind of tartness. Prolonged ending. Medium to thin bodied. Different but not particular successful (Tromsø 19.09.2015).

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, bröd med toner av rörsocker och russin. Lätt kropp, stor sötma, lätt beska. Alldeles för vattning och intetsägande.

Sample at Systembolaget. Clear light amber with a white head. Aroma of malt, crispbread, caramel and light fruit. The finish was medium bitter and quite short. Drinkable but nothing special.
